Can Christians Have Doubts?

What should Christians do when they struggle with doubt? In Luke 7:18–35, even John the Baptist finds himself asking Jesus, “Are you the one who is to come?” Jesus doesn't condemn John for his questions, nor does He immediately change John's difficult circumstances. Instead, He points John back to the evidence of His works and the truth of God's Word. In this sermon, we see that believers sometimes doubt, Jesus gives us reason to believe, and doubt is not the same as unbelief. When our circumstances make us question what we believe, we can bring our doubts to Jesus and rehearse what we know to be true.
