The staff of our children's ministry is dedicated to making sure kids feel loved by God and cared for by their leaders. They work hard to keep Peebz a safe, fun, and encouraging place for children to grow in faith.
Dennis Humphrey | Children's Pastor
Dennis is the Main Peeb (whatever that means). He oversees every aspect of the children's ministry, from large-group teaching to coordinating our many volunteers. Dennis has a degree in commercial art, loves all things sports-related, and is the husband of Jamie and the dad of Jordan and Kaycee. As befits a children’s minister, his favorite place to travel is Disney World. In fact, were he not in the ministry, he’d love to be an artist for Disney.

Sharon Tarpley | Associate Children's Pastor
Sharon's diverse background -- in the past, she's been both a medical administrator and a preschool teacher -- gives her the flexibility that's key to understanding and ministering to kids. She loves the natural energy kids display, but also is inspired by their faith. "The faith of a child," she says, "is something to be desired." She and her husband, David, are the parents of Brad and Bryan. Brad is a sophomore at West Texas A&M University and works in the Children's Ministry as sound and video support. Bryan is your typical teenager and enjoys high school and fast cars.

Joni Jones | Children's Ministry Associate
Joni is a former schoolteacher with more than two decades of experience in both classroom teaching and homeschooling. She and her husband, Steve, are the parents of three grown daughters, all of whom are in full-time ministry. She's also the proud grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter, and will gladly show you pictures if you ask nicely. Joni loves writing, studying the Bible, and helping kids better understand their relationship with God.
