Every week, the staff and volunteers in our preschool ministry work to provide a safe, caring environment for kids. Our goal? For them to experience God’s love, learnabout the world around them, and learn to show God’s love to others. Here are our weekly ministries for young children.
Sunday School
Time: Sundays at 9:45 am
Location: Preschool Hall (Building A)
• Preschool Sunday School classes are led by trained, caring teachers and always include age-appropriatecrafts, a Bible story, a snack, and plenty of opportunities forcreative play.
Special Needs
Time: Sunday mornings
Location: Preschool Hall (Building A) and Children's area (Building B)
• Paramount recognizes that special-needs children are an important part of the body of Christ, and seeks to welcome and minister to them and their families by sharing the love of God. Our trained volunteers accompany special-needs kids to their classes and worship services. To learn more about this ministry, contact Joy Cole.
Extended Teaching Care
Time: Sunday mornings during the 8:30 and 11 am worship services
Location: Preschool Hall (Building A)
• A fun place for kids while their parents attend worship, ETC is staffed by trained volunteers who love children and love to help parents out by watching their kids during the service. ETC includes interactive play, a Bible lesson, and snacks.
4s & 5s Worship
Time: Sundays, 11 am – noon
Location: Room A210
• At 11 am on Sunday mornings, our 4 and 5 year-olds enjoy a worship environment designed just for them, complete with large-group music and small-group instruction that caters to their attention level and understanding. We will not have 4 & 5s Worship on September 5, November 28, December 19 and 26, and January 2.
Preschool M&Ms (Music & Missions)
Time: Wednesdays during the school year, 6:15-7:45 pm
Location: Preschool Hall
• At 6:15 pm, our Preschool Choir starts kids on a lifetime of worship. They move along with music, learn the Bible, and have fun. Around 7 pm, kids transition to Mission Friends, where they’ll learn about giving, sharing, and loving through stories and fun activities. Note: M&Ms concludes at 7:45 pm, but additional childcare is provided until 8:30 pm for kids whose parents are involved in a church activity.
