Missions and mission work have always been a priority at Paramount, since our beginnings as a mission church in the 1950s. Our involvement in missions is three-part: praying, giving, going.

Local Missions

Paramount Baptist Deaf Church: a former mission of PBC led by Pastor Darrell Bonjour, PBDC is now located in Amarillo at 3817 Holiday. This church is one of the state’s premier churches for the deaf. Iglesia Bautista Fuente Viva (Living Fountain Baptist): Our hispanic mission church located near Caprock High School on Manhattan Street in Amarillo. Fredy Pavez is the pastor. Contact Fredy by calling 806-378-9862.

Paramount also supports various ministries in the Texas Panhandle, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Faith City Ministries, CareNet Amarillo, Gideons, Meals on Wheels, Samaritan Outreach Ministries, Life Challenge and the Amarillo Campaign for the Homeless.

International Missions

In 2008, Paramount members traveled to Brazil, Ecuador, Malawi, Ukraine, and elsewhere to spread the Gospel message.  In 2009, Paramount teams served in London, Brazil, Paraguay, British Columbia and Spain.  In 2010, Paramount teams are serving in Haiti, Tokyo, Chili, Czech Republic and more.
