Note: Conference registration extended to Monday, March 22.
Everyone currently working in our LEAF ministry to internationals—and those interested in learning more about literacy missions—are invited to the Panhandle Literacy Conference at Paramount the weekend of March 26–27.
The conference takes place on Friday night, March 26, from 6:30–9:30 pm on the 2nd floor of Building A. It continues Saturday morning, March 27, from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm.
To learn more about the topics and sessions offered at the seminar, please download this flyer.
In conjunction with the conference is a Culture of Poverty seminar, also at the church on March 27 (8:30 am–2 pm). People who live in poverty experience a culture as distinct as first-generation immigrants. In order to be effective in reaching them with the Gospel, we must understand how they live, how they make decisions, and what values drive them. This seminar is conducted by those who work with people in poverty and will equip workers to be effective and productive in reaching the less fortunate. It will be conducted during three of the sessions on Saturday. You may sign up for that seminar only, or you may choose to attend the seminar and other sessions of the conference.
